The webcam is a Logitech Quickcam S 5500 plugged into a webcamserver. The server is an old Compac machine with Intel P3 processor running linux distro Xubuntu as OS. I had some problem with the camera not showing pictures at full resolution but that was solved with installing a USB 2.0 card in the server.
Motion is used as webcam software to upload pictures every minute and record movie files if any motion is going on in front of the camera and store this on the the web server. There isn´t so much action going on but if you check the movie directory you might see me going to work in the morning or the postman bringing the mail.
The camera is placed in the window showing our garden in front of our house in Östra Husby Sweden.
